Lorena began her professional career as hair stylist in 2004.

My journey into the beauty world began at a very young age. My mom was in charge of various hair salons of a well-known hair stylist’s in Mexico. “I remember when I was 8 years old a woman came to the salon crying she was having a personal problem and went to get a makeover by the time she was done her mood had completely changed” From my perspective she looked a lot younger and happier. I can’t explain it but you could see the happiness in her eyes. As you can imagine, that opened my eyes to the beauty industry from a very young age, that inspired me to want to be in a position where I could help someone find their inner beauty and at the same time feel and look amazing on the outside. At the age of 16 I started cosmetology school here in the Rio Grande Valley. It’s been a long journey full of wonderful experiences, now 21 years later my passion for hair styling is as strong as ever. I hope to meet you in person soon here at the Hair Studio by Lorena.
